Spring or Not ....

I shall wear Lace

As with 99.9% of the Uk I am officially acting as if it is Spring ...indoors ...at the moment. My lovely lace top arrived from Boden and although it is lined I shall wear it indoors until it warms up . It did reach a positively balmy 9.5 degrees at midday today though.

I am longing for the feel of sunshine on my skin. I never seem to get warm ...ever. I ended up changing the jacket for a padded coat and the peep toes for some winter boots before stepping out the door. #toocold

  9. That is a great scarf and a perfect lacy blouse. In Atlanta the weather can't make up its mind just yet so I am doing the spring thing in my house some days too. :-)

  10. Lovely top. I have just bought a similar one in cream from Top Shop - it is amazing for £16.

  11. Tell me about it Claire! Your top is lovely but even wearing inside round here I'd be too cold and it would be covered up with a huge cardi! Although 9.5 degrees is practically a heatwave compared to the temperature of late. Fingers crossed you can wear your top and peeptoes outside soon! xx

  12. Lovely light colours and a very pretty top. But you're just like me ... chickening out at the last minute for some boots. However I did manage a pair of ballet pumps this weekend. Woohoo. No going back now. The winter stuff is getting packed away!

  14. What a gorgeous look! So glad you were brave like Sue and I and took spring by the proverbials and got the ankles/toes out! Yes, we'll be in wellies by Wednesday but when everyone else is wondering where summer is and wishing they wore their pumps back in that sunny week in April, we can say we did it! Haha! Hope the construction work is going ok and the disruption isn't too bad, Axx

  19. Oh yes ... beautiful colors and textures make these neutrals gorgeous rather than dull! I love this kind of dressing 'cause it always elevates jeans and jackets to polished. I wish you some sun, and quickly!
