Blog Award

I was so excited to be awarded my first Blog award this week from Michelle at    Follow Me Home . She has been so encouraging of my blog and I found that our lives, across the miles had many similarities . I had followed and enjoyed her blog from early on in my blogging journey. This is all so new to me - I have only been blogging a few months, but I am enjoying every minute - it is a little haven and an outlet for me in a busy life where everything else is about everybody else - you find that!!?

So thank you - what a lovely surprise that someone is enjoying what I am doing.....

So the idea is that I now pick 11 of my favourite blogs that have less than 200 followers - which is great as they will be relatively new to this, as I am  and it will be a great encouragement I know!! I can think of loads already .......and then I answer the 11 questions as honestly as I can, given to me for my award and then give my chosen 11 blogsters , 11 questions for them to answer - simple!!

So my 11 answers to the questions given to me first......

1. What was the title of your very first post and what was it about?

It was called "The Beauty of Time" -  a quote by  Arnold Bennett  about how you can't waste time before it has happened and that each moment is there waiting for you to use it afresh. I started my blog at a real time of change and wanting to use my new available time wisely. Also a photo of some pretty blossom in our garden that then became the banner on my blog!

2. How did you come up with the name of your blog?

With the thought above in mind and after a fantastic music track by Jazzanova called Another New Day....the blog was named. We always have another chance to start again!

3. Do you have an underground blog or does everyone in your world know you write it?

Everyone knows I write it in our house, but they don't read it all!! Too busy I guess. The rest of my world are gradually finding out about it as it naturally happens - I haven't ever made a big anounement that I was doing it - mainly to close friends and family only.

4. Have you ever had to deal with negative comments?

I don't think so, but I would tend to put a positive slant on even those comments that may be of a negative composition anyway. Anon ones wouldn't be accepted! If you want to be honest about your opinion you should do in it an open and polite manner don't you think?

5. What is your worst pet peeve?

To do with blogging? When blogger doesn't save and you lose what you have written ...ouch. Not to do with blogging ...too many to list - I'm a parent !!!!

6. Do you think it's important to respond to every comment?

At first I tried to as it felt rude not to, but it isn't possible if you have a lot of comments on one post. I try and respond to the ones that are new or need a reply first.

7. Do you blog for money? If yes, has it been worth it?

No - not yet anyway!

8. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. One day. What would you eat?

Porridge - always for breakfast , with honey. Then we go down hill! Lunch ....ummmm. Maybe fruit or toast or a cake at 4 if I forgot. I'm no good at lunch if the kids aren't home! Dinner - if it were my choice a great big salad with loads of chicken and bacon bits and a chunk of crispy bread! Yum and cold white wine.  Chocolate for pud. Oh and coffee on tap all day long.

9. Who was your favorite teacher in school and why?

Mr V - cus he had a cool name .

10. At this moment in your life, are you content?

Content meaning settled, happy, at peace - I would say most of the time. There is honesty for you! We all have a bit of restlessness in our souls........

11. Do you see yourself blogging for the long haul?

Yes - I am really loving it and getting to know some lovely people.

These are my 11 amazing Blogs that I give Liebster Awards to.  Congratulations to each one of you! Each one I have followed and learnt from and offers something different and amazing to the blogging community! Do check out their blogs .
