Sweet Shop

I came across this lovely little sweet shop whilst out and about with my daughter during the week. The sun was shining for a change and the array of traditional sweets just drew us in. Everything was displayed in bottles on the shelves and they had a variety of traditional sweets to choose from. Everything was weighed and then wrapped in pink and white candy striped bags - a real treat! We got some barley sugar sweets, some lemon and strawberry hearts, some cola fizz bombs and two lollipops!

What were (or are!) your favourite sweets as a child?

  1. I worked in a sweetshop on a Saturday from the age of 14 to 18. It may explain why I can't stand sweets now although I do love Lindt chocolate.

  4. How fun! I believe I could spent a grand amount of time there! I love anything sweet/sour, and chocolate is ALWAYS on my list. Thanks, by the way for the award..I'm humbled and excited. I hope to get to it very soon. Have a beautiful rest-of-the-weekend :)
